Not for nothing Fieberbrunn's "own" mountain is called like all-rounder mountain - it has something to offer for everyone.
Family hit Timok's Alm
Lush alpine meadows surrounded by wild-romantic mountain ranges… and right in the middle of it, lots of cool hot spots: On Timok's Alm at the mid-station Streuböden there is a lot to discover. With Timok's Alpine Coastern yu can whizz down the mountain on a comfortable 2-seater. Just afterwards, you can test your skills and balance in Timok's Forest Rope Course. And Timok's climbing park and its game enclosure are also waiting to be discovered!
Museum goes wild - Digitale fun in the nature
In collaboration with the Tyrolean Museum, the Bergbahnen Fieberbrunn take you up into the Wildalm Alpine area in a fun and educational way. Starting from the top station of the Lärchfilzkogel and equippe with a smart phone and the special app, you can shed light on various different grasses, shrubs, and animals at 10 stations. You will learn interesting and surprising facts about flora, fauna and geology around the Wildseeloder, for example how a whole mountain range can travel, how cloning works in nature, why plants can be real traitors and much more. The fun for the whole family - with funny, interesting stories and informative short films.
A good family path - beginning from the top-station Lärchfilzkogel - takes you within about 1.5 hours to a remarkable natural attraction: the Wildseelodersee lake. Enjoy refreshment in the Wildseeloder Haus. The more sporty can take the way to the summit of the Wildseeloder on 2,117 m. From there above, you have a fantastic view.
Head up to the peaks and be amazed
This is somewhere where feelings of joy rise up, just as the climbers do too… On the panorama via ferrata “Himmel und Henne” for example, an easy climb (grading A) that is also possible for children. On the way to the summit of the “Henne”, for variety try the “Geduldigen” (B), the “Rassigen” (C), or the “Zachen” (D). The tougher “Marokka” (C) via ferrata takes you up to the 2,019 m peak of the same name, also known as the “Matterhorn of the Alps of Kitzbühel”. And those who complete the climb certainly earn their refreshment in one of the many mountain huts.
Explore and blossom
The wonderful flower path around the Hochhörndlspitze takes you from the Wildseeloderhaus towards the Henne. Along the way, you will see numerous protected species of Alpine flowers such as Alpine anemone, columbine, prunella, tormentil, and of course Edelweiß and gentians. The path then takes you on to "Reckmoos" with breathtaking views of the white Tauern mountains in the distance. Here, you continue along the "Maueracker" - a real unspoiled gem that leads from the Reckmoos into the mountain basin. Passing the flanks of the “Henne” on your left and the “Maueracker” on your right you come back to the starting point - the lake Wildseelodersee.
